A few pages ago someone was talking about Neil's website where he lists the gear he started with for this ride.

Anyone have a link? My googlefu is failing me.

Yes, Neil is likely to finish inside of Aidan Harding's time of 3 days 2 hours something for the inaugural 440, having ridden an extra 120 miles.

Just nuts how they can do it without hitting resupply points at the right time for food etc

Not sure i can go to sleep tonight
Faster you go the less resuply you need. Simple enough really.

Quite impressed at Neil, knew he'd go fast, but this is making me smile :)

What I say I hope will not offend, but had Mike been taking part just how fast would he/potentially have been. Not to disrespect the amazing riding so far. Inspiring to say the least.

Who knows, Neil, Chris, Fitz, Phil and Rich are all putting in top efforts. Mike would have been in the mix.

PS on the way home last night I saw his Mum. She spotted our #bemoremike stickers on our bikes. I told her we were thinking of Mike before the depart on Saturday.

Superb riding by Ian. Got a good buffer against Phil, and seems to be moving up the Glen Licht climb faster than Chris did.

Ian has gone all night to lift himself into a clear third over Phil, and looks to be catching Chris (or it could be his spot not just updated)

On a related note, I was sat in a cafe on the Jennride and there were five people at the table aged 43. :D

Bit of a satellite black spot by the look of it, or he hasn't reset his spot in over 24 hours? If Ian could catch Chris, it would be an amazing effort. Maybe the birthday spirit will give him a bit of a lift

Looks like Phil is under pressure from Rich Rothwell now.

I've just noticed that the route on Trackleaders doesn't take account of the bridge closure in Fort William.

It doesn't we just nipped down the main road. Alan was cool with that.

Is that the Great Glen Way bridge? had me confused when I looked at Neil's trace. He's tweeted a picture of fish and chips, and cake so now fuelled up for the push to the finish. Very impressive riding by the front runners. I've been following this all weekend, including from my bivi bag on Saturday night, properly addicted to dot watching this year

Did that in the dark last year and went the wrong way! Was definitely wishing for suspension by that point!

Sorry to hear about your knee and GPS issues, Gabe. Hope the Scotland intro was enough to get you back up there next year.

Javier and Steve seem to be together again, or at least really close distance wise.
