4000km of Europe

I just got back from a little bike ride across Europe. Final distance was just over 4000km over six weeks. I decided to do a 'series' of posts about it on my website, and just published the first one: https://danielgroves.net/adventures-pho ... /eurovelo/

We were travelling quite a lot heavier than most here (and then I usually would), but needs must (you'll see why later). There will be some more posts, but not until I get back from Scotland as I leave on saturday and they take ages to put together. If there's any interest, I'll keep posting them up here. Otherwise… I'll probably keep posting them anyway.

I finally got around to publishing the next part for this, focusing on Greece. It's titled Diesel and Dust, and I'd appreciate any feedback anyone fancies giving! As always, a couple of teaser images…

EDIT: The link would probably help https://danielgroves.net/adventures-pho ... elo-greece

Really enjoyed reading that - yes please post more. It looks like an amazing trip.
Just to be pedantic though - it is 'breathe' not 'breath' in the second para ie 'finally we had some room to breathe'

Thanks for pointing that out, I'll fix that in a tick  Really helpful when you get someone give some feedback!

There will be more, but it may be a few weeks until he next post. They take a lot of time to put together, but really glad to hear you enjoyed it :-bd

We pannier people have to stick together
Look forward to reading more when you get time. You are right that these write-ups do take a long while to put together.

True that! Although I don't use pannier exclusively…

Next one is written, just image processing now, so we'll see but it shouldn't be too long

Good read. It's quite amusing how you got the only photo of the two of you together.

Everything shot on the Fuji X-T1, but I was carrying a fair size setup for the trip (tripod, filters, etc)
