I have to say I thought the forecast was pretty good considering... Be assured, we will get wet. We will probably feel cold too.

This is all part of the charm...

Make sure you have a dry set of clothes to sleep in, especially socks. A small travel towel is always useful to get your feet dry before getting into dry socks and sleeping bag. A lesson I learned the hard way...

Your trip sounds good

Little tip - take a little bit of talc. I always talc my feet before putting on my bed socks, my feet are always entirely dry then and it gives me a chance to warm them up before putting socks on

Talc? Really..... will have to get out that lavender stuff I've been keeping back for a special occasion :-)

Hope this lot managed to find a nice sheltered spot to hole up in, weather was a bit wild when I drove through Princetown on the way home from kayaking this morning.

sensible choice. much calmer but colder out there tonight, even got a glimpse of the sun as I came back from lustleigh this afternoon.
