This might actually be closer for me than the Welsh one... by some irony of the shitty Welsh highway system. I'd be up for Nevis's plan.

I am hedging over this one, as might have no bike, tent, or lights. Bike and tent up for sale lights already sold.
I might have new bike assembled and commissioned by then and shelter and lights can be easily sorted
Been doing a bit of research to try to pick a spot to bivvy. Postbridge looks good as it’s in the middle of the moor so folks can approach from all directions. Just behind the Posthouse Inn there is a waterfall rather unimaginatively called The Waterfall at SX 6274 8105. Never been there might be crap. BaseCamp tells me its 2.4 miles up a track from the Inn. What would clinch it for me would be getting Daniel on-board as this would guarantee the most picturesque bivvy spot under a clear sky. :-bd
Definitely not up for the Killer Loop as bike would be loaded with kit. Would probably come up from Ivybridge or Plymouth and depending on weather forecast and what kit I have left might consider travelling up on Friday have a ride around on Saturday and meet up Saturday evening. Will it be an evening in the pub or round the campfire?
Probably won’t hang about on Sunday and would ride down to Plymouth or Ivybridge for train back to Exeter then ride home.
Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.

Yes, I know "waterfall"

Not pitched there but it's quite a nice little spot if memory serves. I seem to remember some of the route can be a little damp.

Definitely damp around there, even in summer.
