Also have an inflatable pillow
Weighs sod all and does help with sleep.
Use a buff as a pillow case.
Used to use my down jacket, but pillow is far better. And sometimes want to wear down jacket for extra warmth

I already have Bothy slippers wouldn’t take them racing though.

It does take my entire racing sleep and shelter kit over the 600g mark though.

Christmas has come early though apparently the missus says she's going to wrap them up and make we wait...

And delivered an avid pro brake bleed kit and a pair of brake pads. The avid pro kit is lovely, proper heavy duty syringes with nice handles and fittings including brake choks etc. The great thing about this kit is that you can apply negative pressure to get the air out of the fluid.

Brakes bled very well and now the Fargo actually stops, if your looking at this kit and thinking it’s expensive, it’s worth it.

Best purchase I ever made, especially as a racer. I used to always carry a duvet jacket which I’d use as a pillow. Buying the pillow meant I could go lighter on my sleeping bag by wearing the jacket at the same time. I’ve gone from a 750g to a 350g bag for a 40g penalty

In other news, a 90lb warbow arrived today but like a good lad I've put it away until Christmas. Hopefully, it'll feel 'easy' after the 150lb branch I had a play with at weekend. A new bench top sander also arrived.

Pair of Lusso "Nitelife" thermal bib tights. Finally had to consign my old Altura Nightvision bibs to the bin as the pad had disintegrated badly and had become damned uncomfortable.

Will try them out tonight for the first time on the way home. They have lots of reflective panels unlike the latest Altura stuff...

I am indeed Chris,she’s a bit posh compared to the ECR. Only two decent rides on it so far but I’m loving it, fast and very comfortable. I’ve two wheel sets wit it, 27.5+ and a posh 29” set, when I put a 148 hub on the Reynolds I’ll have 3! The plan is to have those as a road set neatly dodging Mrs D’s one bike rule
