Re: Ireland?
Coast is best overall. Prefer the West coast up from Kerry, through the Burren of Clare, Galway and onto Mayo and Connemara. North Coast by Donegal and along the coast to Bushmill's / 9oants Causeway is good to.
If you take the ferry either get a train from Dublin across the country or potter through Wicklow and down to Kildare and pick up a train there. SSWC was in a nice location in Co Limerick on the border with Tipperary and the Galtee's look nice but never been.
Loads of independent hostel's to stay in. The economy needs a lift;-) For a biased version ask me at the weekend (I lived in Mayo as a kid) or MarkEnduro for a less biased version.
May be over in April / May to see the relly's and possibly race near Killaloe.

Re: Ireland?
we could all meet in Dublin, the boys in the South could get a ferry from Swansea and the boys in the North from Holyhead.
Only problem is we may never get out of the Guinness factory :D

Re: Ireland?
I have considered getting Holyhead ferry, probably staying at Glendalough with an aunt, then heading South to Rosslare and picking up ferry to Fishguard. From there follow NCN to Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury.
