Press fit help?

Going to replace my hated creaking Press Fit bearing tomorrow. Heading off, so can't wait any longer.
Instructions say use grease unless there is a possibility of creaking, then use a Loctite bearing compound.

I don't have the Loctite and last time I used grease, it creaks.

Can I use Loctite medium thread locker? I have that. Other options?

It is such a tight fit that I can't imagine anything remaining behind when pressed in.

Thanks.

if you are worried about creaking I would buy the advised compound
If you do use what you have my best guess is that its better than nothing/probably wont do any harm

If it does continue to creak you can get threaded push fit [ tube between each bearing side ] which you tighten so wont creak [ which i have had to do and it works perfectly

Bearing fit is pretty strong stuff and will usually require the application of heat* to shift at a later date.

*sometime considerable.

Thanks for the replies.
I went with Loctite medium strength thread locker, as that is what I had. Will find out in a couple of years if it will come out.
The compound was recommended by the RaceFace bearing not the frame. (Niner aluminium)
