This was my ninth consecutive WRT and I don't want to imagine a May bank holiday without one. It's a major highlight of my year and my son Michael, who has come with me (as minder) for the last 3, has already asked if I'll be doing the next one.

I had an amazing weekend, thank you both very much as ever

Bollocks. What a nightmare, absolutely knackered, bike filthy, clothes smell like sheep, overdosed on chocolate peanuts, kept meeting loads of strange people on bikes, didn't know where me next meal was coming from, kept awake by cuckoos and mice, gates gates gates, got soaked. Did I mention gates. Total nightmare.

In other words the perfect weekend away

Thank you very much for holding it all together and for the darts. No other [non] 'event' comes close hence why I don't do any others. Takes lot of effort to make it look like it doesn't take any effort .

.... and thank you for leaving behind your bag of chocolate peanuts Reg ... came in very handy last night they did
