Here's an edit from my trip from the weekend.
Will be interested to know what you think as it's a different approach to my previous ones...

I enjoyed that Jeff, ta.

It's a magical place indeed.

I watched about the first half of it yesterday Jeff, and really liked it, I felt as if I was there!
Particularly liked the little clip near the start with a bit of blue twine on a fence blowing in the breeze.

Were you not tempted to go up the coast to Cape Wrath from the bothy? One I've been meaning to do fo a while, despite having been well warned off it...
I'm intrigued as to the other bothy occupants pack raft route - the lochs are all on the south side of Suilven so I guess they must have humpfed it over the hill?

Tbh after walking to Strathchailleach bothy for a nose, it would have been a tough ride walk to Cape Wrath especially loaded up!

The lady with the packraft at Suileag came in from Loch Assynt, fair dos.

Ah, always wondered about the path from Loch Assynt to Suileg. My one pack raft trip was in one of the lochs to the southwest of Suilven but my current pursuit of a SH packraft is based on the opportunities of this area!

Cath and I did that path many years ago, maybe ten or more. It's not well defined, quite boggy in places. From memory we pushed much more than we rode - the Ledmore Traverse is more rideable

Definitely an area I want to explore more, but on shanks pony rather than with a bike!

Les and I should be doing Suilven via packraft from the East in 3 to 4 weeks time, weather depending.
Can't wait
