OT: Vegan cheese recommendations

Slightly OT but having been plant based now for 6 months (health reasons), I cannot find a decent cheese that tastes vaguely interesting. The ones that I've tried either:-

1. Taste like rubber
2. Feel like rubber
3. Have no taste
4. Texture of ...I dunno!
5. Smell like the dog!
6. All of the above.

The only one I've tried to date that is fair to middling is a Mexicana from Tesco which is hot with chillis. Not too bad but one is not enough to satisfy what was a real enjoyment when I was full fat ...so to speak!

Xmas only brought home the pleasure of things that used to be enjoyed!

1. Cheese
2. Turkey
3. Pigs in blankets
4. Kebab

Booo!

Supermarkets
Applewood smoked
Violife Greek one
There are some expensive posh ones you can buy online

Very good and very expensive.[ should say not eaten proper cheese for 30+ years so YMMV]

Morrisons do a reasonable smoked vegan cheese, that’s my go to, it melts well too

Honestly Tasty make some good ones. You can get it online but it's usually in your vegan outlets and often in Holland & Barrett. Sells out very quickly, so must be good.

Cathedral City plant based isn't bad at all.

Never actually tried the cheese on its own or the normal violife  but the Greek one melts really well - think its coconut based - and I use it make a tomato and cheese tart. Works well for that . This one
