Forget which tyre, but which pillow?

My Exped pillow split at the seam leaving me with just my deep comfy and cheap Vango pillow.
But it's still not deep enough for me.

Which pillow is the deepest best suited for side sleepers, one that's comfy, light and reliable please?

My exped suffered an aneurysm when the internal baffle went, its actually even more comfy now! When it goes properly I'll be getting another one as this has done 7 years and I tend to lean on it a lot, which was when the baffle blew....

I have one, the fleece fabric/synthetic insulation upper is really comfortable next to skin. It does wander around on a fully inflated mat so I sometimes dress my mat with a jumper and put the pillow inside. It does help me when I side sleep (much better than a screwed-up puffy) but everyone sleeps differently. :-bd

What about one of them there S2S Aero jobbies? Nearly went for one during a sale but binned it off when I realised I had about a harem's worth of pillows already for some reason.

If you get one can I have a go of it please?

We’ve got the S2S Aero pillows, Cath’s got the standard size and I have the large version. Do me as a side sleeper

Was tempted but measured it and found it didn't fit in my sleeping bag hood which I like to do sometimes...

I have the S2S one too (I was thinking mine was Exped like John's till Reg mentioned  ). Standard for weight weenieness, and works for me as a side sleeper, better than a dry bag of clothes anyway, but I'd be interested to try the large.

As a side sleeper/wriggler who likes their comforts, I've tried:
  • Decathlon "Air basic" - probably the second best to date. Cheap, light, only a *mostly* disappointing night's sleep.
Trekology - gave up on this very quickly.
Klymit Cush - too slim as a single-ply, wouldn't stay put when folded up for more thickness.
Sea to Summit Aeros Premium (large) - the current option, and best to date. Appreciably thicker than all the others, and the soft fleecy covering is nice.
But frankly, aren't all camping pillows a bit pony?

I ordered one of these (aeros premium pillow) for it's better depth, should be here before the WRT for a 2 night test

I find the regular one is huge - would be interested to see how big the large one is
