Just scanning through cycling uk’s YouTube vid about the King Alfred way and they’ve flicked up this slide showing potential new routes (yellow dashed line) they’re looking at. Any ideas what this one is with my red arrow?

From Shrewsbury down to where it joins route 8, I'd say it's route 81 or Lon Cambria as they call it.

There's an existing off-road* cycle route from Stafford to Newport, I wonder if it's looking to link that up a bit?

*Old railway, not shredding the gnar style.

The north east end looks like Leek, or somewhere along the edge of the Peaks between there and Macclesfield.

South west end could be Rhayader/Elan Valley.

Not sure what the best way to cycle between the two would be. Might it include the Kerry Ridgeline?

Heh! Sorry my op wasn't very well written. I'm wondering what existing trails this could use(and maybe even a guess at the name)

as an aside I think the Monarchs Way could be a very good route to mirror on 'legal' trails (a lot of it is FP but there's a fair bit of BW and canal towpaths around here)

The one spearing out into East Angular looks like it just follows the Icknield Way and Peddars Way.
