Those valve core bobbins tickle me, though I'd probably just use a spare locking to hold them on rather than the one holding the seal with the rim.
The piggy is weird. Why would you strap little stuff on the outside of the frame, out if a bag and exposed to the elements / slight loosening and bye-bye?

I'm with you on that, one of my pet hates. Stops me from buying stuff sometimes.
Those valve core removers are a good idea, though I have a tiny plastic one in my little box of useful stuff (chain links, tyre boots, spare valve cores, etc.) that lives in my top tube bag.
