They seem to be in short supply but there's some here. Prices vary depending on size / colour so play about with the drop-downs but can be had for less than £50.

Full name of the one I have is "Columbia OutDry Ex Reign Jacket". I have the "desert sun heather" version... you and I know it as orange.

The "Ex Gold Tech" also has pit zips.
I think I'll be a large and unfortunately those are all still a tad pricy.

Will keep my eyes open for bargains though.

How do these size up?

I'm usually borderline medium/large.....

They're not a cycling cut by any means Nige. I've a medium and it's fine with enough room for a couple of reasonable layers beneath if need be.

Cheers. I'll see if I can find a size chart and measure up against my current jacket... :-bd

I too am M/L for most brands.
I find the M close but not too snug, a little short in the body, and definitely too short in the arms.
I suspect I'd find the L a bit loose fit for cycling.

Definitely size up. I'm normally a medium in everything, and I sent my M back and swapped it for a L, which is still a little shorter in the arm than ideal, but a good fit - not slim fitting though.

Yeah, that's my worry. It's usually Ok sleeves and mainsail body or OK body and rain down the gloves!

Conversely I am usually a medium/large. Brought a Large featherlight and it was like a tent. Huge. Couldn't get a featherlight in medium so brought a medium reign. Much better but definitely not an athletic cut.

I'm about 5'10 and 11 stone.

Cheers, sounds like a medium might be ok afterall. :geek:

That joke was done last time there was a thread about these coats. I wasn't entertaining it a second time :-P

I was about to say that unless you have got bigger since we last rode together Nige then I would go for the medium which is the size that I have but after reading northwind's reply I'm not so confident. I'm 40inch chest and the medium is roomy, definitely not slim cut. Certainly more mountain bike jacket than road.

got a small baggy[relative to cyling tops] on the top but this is good as i can get a base layer/thin jacket underneath [not a lofting type]. Very very snug on hips/waist but eased off with use.
5 ft 9
10 stone
30" waist - you wont get a bigger waist than this in a small
Racing snake in all departments except pace, endurance and ability.
