Afternoon hive mind...

Four of us are heading over Belgium to have a go at this bikepacking.com route in July:

(it was the pics of the beer that swung me....).

Can anyone recommend any maps as being any better than others for Ardennes region?

Also, off hand does any one know a good place to park the car for four days safely in Liege, a lot of town centre seems to be pedestrianised, or short stay?

many thanks

I’ll be doing that exact route myself with a friend starting on May 8th. He’s not into the camping part and so we are credit carding it.

I’ll be using Komoot and a Beeline. He’ll be using a Wahoo and something like Ride With GPS. I think pretty much anything that can route off-road and have downloadable maps would work. I have a phone on the three network and that helps as I can just use my data over there as if I was here.

We are planning to route via these as much as possible...

Topographic paper maps for Belgium:

Different scales available.
I'd visit the local book shop and order what's needed.

Great thanks for replies, forgot about Stanfords, used to love that shop when I lived in London...

I’ll be placing route on Wahoo, but am quite interested in some of the WWII sites as well, so thought paper maps would be great for a larger overview that I struggle with on little screen
