Are you upset as I am with Pete’s passing?

‘‘Tis a great shame especially with the Albert hall lined up, punk in the posh place would have been great.

Sad news. His songwriting was influential. Not dissimilar age to me either.

Terrible news. He/they still feel relevant - a part of the present, not the past. This is too soon.

Jealous. This is as close as I've got. Just time for a quick spin before work.

Aye, a band that I think never really got the recognition they deserved and were always a little overshadowed. Gone but not forgotten.

Thanks Dave - been a bit occupied so hadn't seen it. 63. Poor old Pete. Not a cheery Friday . Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've) - yes almost every day.

As PeterS says, 63, that's also a bit close for comfort. Coincidentally just finished reading, for the umpteenth time, Pratchett's "Reaper Man" over my breakfast - the poor chap may be damned by his popularity but it doesn't diminish the literature, and some of the jokes/metaphors/puns are particularly apposite at the moment.

I'll have to spend my morning playing Time's Up. It seems appropriate.

Get a grip Reg now, just gotta keep on buggering on.

Oh Sh1t got some hammer in my teen years when I broke up with some young love. Thought I was the height of sophistication playing Automony.

Even nowadays when my ears are usually being reamed out by hyper-blast black noise I still occasionally youtube Harmony in my Head.
