Chew, Zip and Norm on the IoM.

The glorious IoM only spoilt by two and a half hours of vomiting to reach the lovely isle Chew and myself met up at Lime Street station just before I was asked to leave by armed police officers ... my ingrained trampish good looks know no bounds obviously.
I could go on about all the places visited, all the things seen and trails ridden ... trouble is we did so much, that I can't really be arsed but suffice to say, a good time was had by all. Zippy returned home on Tuesday which left just Chew and myself to continue the exploring and dodging of closed roads. I think the personal highlight for me was discovering that we were spending the second night in the company of wallabies from the local wildlife park. The fat grey seal was another bonus.
I would also like to issue a warning ... DON'T try and catch a train from Chester when the Chester races are on! Some of the sights at the station were quite alarming
First night pitch just down the road from the Gooseneck.
Perhaps the islands only semi-official bothy.
There's no shortage of decent and largely deserted trails in the hills.
This was a real find on the cliff top path above Peel - sadly I awoke somewhat damp after the sea mist arrived around 3.00am and my flappy door deposited most of it directly on top of me.
Surprised how calm and almost bored Chew appears as a bloke on a motorbike travelling rather quickly passes just inches from his nose.
Washing facilities were quite sparse.
