Has anyone here walked it? Helen and I have been thinking of this as a big challenge for later this year. It looks pretty out there in terms of logistics and I am interested in any experiences.

Short answer no but I am interested in the last section Sandwood Bay to CW.
According to Walkhighlands https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cape-wrath-trail.shtml this bit does not have a defined path but there is a gpx – a bit like a BB route. :-bd
There are a couple of interesting Bothies in the area.

Three friends of mine walked a variation of the CWT a few years back. I joined them from Achfary to Cape Wrath and then drove them home. We slept on the Bealach Horn, watched the most perfect sunset, climbed Foinaven on a beautiful warm, sunny day, recovered with ice cream at the London Stores, ate fish and chips and had too many beers in the Kinlochbervie Hotel then got to Sandwood just as the sun was setting again. It was a day I'll never forget.

The trudge to Cape Wrath was a complete anti-climax.

There's always one set of nutters isn't there! It's over 200 miles long.

Just the one set?

I'm keen to ride a route similar to that walking route. Has anybody done it?
