Aside from the usual set off grid references, this years WRT will also feature a collection entitled 'Bwlch or Bust'. While most folk choose to embark upon the WRT aboard a mountainbike, there are those who prefer something skinnier ... Bwlch or Bust' is for those people. Don't expect it to be an easy ride or all on tarmac and should you decide to go down that route, you'll be requiring legs and lungs to match ... the clue is most certainly in the name.

I can also confirm pork products wrapped in bread for the start :-bd

Yes, probably one of the most infamous. Nearest translation is 'pass' which should provide a good idea

@Alex Gold, another year for you? They now have a section for people with 30mm tyres and we can propose a new event: “throwing a CX bike 10m in frustration”. Haha. Hope to see you again this year.

It did pique my interest and I'd have probably preferred it to last year's 'knife to a gunfight' riding! ....However I've got Birmingham and back and Brighton and back that weekend, and am leading both so will be missed if I don't turn up  . Am keeping an eye on your sussex ones though in case I can make any of those!
