North Wales for a couple of days

I'm heading up to Caernarfon for a couple of days with work at the end of the month and have allowed myself a bit of extra time to "do a few site visits" while i'm up there.
I was thinking of exploring the Lleyn Peninsula or heading a little south to the Snowdonia area, will only have two days/three nights free to explore and was looking for recommendations for the must see spots while i'm there or even a pre used route that could be covered in two days giving plenty of time to get back to Caernarfon for the meeting. I have done a bit of walking in Snowdonia many years back, but never cycled, i have never been to the Lleyn but has always been on my list to explore so what you got? Tia

No doubt the NWales chaps'll be along soon with much better info, but until they do:

Up and down Snowdon & no need to worry about the summer curfew :-bd

Llanberis slate tips - brilliant (up via Brynrefail / Fachwen / Dinorwig, down the tips, back along the lake)

Some wierd downhill bits around Moel Y Ci.

Beddgelert Forest - a few interesting bits in the woods there.

Ogwen Trail from Bangor to Bethesda and carry on up into Nant Ffrancon scenery.

Further east:

Penmachno "trail" centre - fab but a bit of a trot from Caernarfon.

From Capel Curig NE over the ridge to Llyn Crafnant or Llyn Cowlyd. Probably a bit bogtastic.

Two days? - how about Caernarfon - Bangor - Bethesda - Moel y Ci - Deiniolen - Marchlyn Bach reservoir - down slate tips - bivi round Llanberis - next day up Snowdon Llanberis Path - back down Snowdon Ranger Path - Telegraph Valley /Maesgwm - Llanberis - Caernarfon? You'll deserve a pint after that !

Cheers Reg, some great ideas to have a look at, I wanted to avoid Snowdon as I would expect it to be busy ( can’t be doing with people) time to get the maps out!

Snowdonia eh? Good choice!
I think RIP has hit the nail in the head with those suggestions.
Dinorwig slate quarry
Cowlyd loop
The cycle track from Bangor harbour to Capel Curig
The usual trail centres but take your wet suit for Penmachno
Then there's the Conwy mountain, Tal y fan, roman road loop
A pootle to Cwm Eigiau is one of my fav's

Cheers for the recommendations, I’ll start marking some points on the map and join up the dots

I'm currently on the peninsula this week. I found there's not much off road here, unless you like sloppy farm fields. On the plus side the roads are quiet (and narrow). It's also hillier than I was expecting. It's worth a trip to the end for the view, but I'd prefer Snowdonia
