Trawling back through a file of photo's and a came across some crackers of my kids but I stumbled across my first bike packing trip.
This was my ride for the very first Welsh Ride Thing back in 2009

Ahh, like it were only yesterday.
Actually, it's strange ro think that, it's only 10 years ago but there's no 'bikepacking luggage' on your bike - not because you didn't have any but because at the time, there really wasn't any to have.

May the bridges you burn light your way

We’re all individuals, except me.

Judy Race forks - lovingly remembered as my first suspension forks!!
My bikepacking started with a couple of Polaris's around 12 years ago, with all kit in a rucksack, then my first proper adventure, the TCW in a day in about 2008, carrying everything as I didn't know if I would make it. I did, and pitched up just outside Mach.
It's all been uphill since then...
