Cheapish Lodgings
Can anybody suggest somewhere for the Friday night that's nearby and not too expensive? The Star is full.

I sent you some on facebook, but also it's worth considering just taking another tent / tarp and using that in their field the night before. That way you don't have to worry about repacking etc.

Surely not the Wynnstay, the Dovey Forester is Mach's equivalent of Royston Vesey. Is Tegid Humphreys' bunkhouse still going? Might be worth enquiring at the Machynlleth Spar which afaik he runs.

Tegid's place is closed.
There is a bunkhouse in Hafren forest (about the same distance from the start as the Star) Looks very nice.
I've just found them on FB and see they're expecting us: https://www.facebook.com/hafrenbunkhouse/

I have got a place there now with some other bike people. Looks like a party to rival the Star is on!

Is anybody else from here staying at the woodland lodge, the owner told me there were some other people doing bb200 staying there on Friday?
