Wish I hadn't......

Decided to swap the 29's out for the 650b's, a five minute job...
As a tight git I run one cassette and swap it across the wheels to help with chain wear etc.
However, today the cassette removal tools slipped (or so I thought) and burred some of the splines inside the cassette. After my best impression of Dave and much bodging I managed to remove it only to find the splines inside the cassettes that the tool fits into have in fact twisted to almost 45* and yet the pins on the cassettes remain straight (??)
Anyway, £80 for a new cassette and no ridding until it arrives. Not as if there's an event around the corner
