So my September trip didn't go to plan as my friend was pretty unfit from 3 months at sea and got a sore backside on the first day, but we had a good bit of fun on quiet roads and easy estate tracks. Knocked on a few bothies doors and even used the tent I'd taken as a just in case measure. We got a bit wet at times and the odd midge bite, but nothing to moan about really.
Here's a blog write up...

No crazy mileage, no hike-a-bike, no tussocks and no gnar, but a good few days away catching up with a mate in the countryside

Thanks for that write up - looks a good trip and glad you found that wee houwff!

Yeah, its a lot more than a wee houwff, which is what I was expecting. 5 star accommodation for sure
