I have a feeling editing it will delete the votes that have been cast already.
What's the other option though?

Re: First overnight trip
Well, my first was with a small mixed group of whom 2 were newbies and 2 were bivi experts......
.....okay, they were in the T.A, so that made them experts they said
Edit, voted anyhow

Camping. When I was 2 years old. With my parents.
I don't think a solo trip was on the cards at the time.

I think it needs a 'too long ago to remember' option...

Mine was with the wife and it was the first time for both of us. My write up of it won an akpkit competition one Christmas. I won't put a link as it was written with one eye on the competition with plenty of the correct logos in the pictures and it uses phrases from the swear filter anyone who's really intetested can find it with Google if you know my first bivi was on new years eve.

Re: First overnight trip
While there'd been plenty of trips previously, the very first 'Winter Bivvy' sticks in my mind as the catalyst of many things. It was a fairly simple over-nighter with limited mileage but conditions were challenging ... 24 hours that made me realise what bikepacking can be and should be. Here's a nice picture taken by Ian.
