No worries.

The Anker version has proven very useful on UK and European bikepacking trips; however, unfortunately no USA or NZ adapters, I asked Anker.
So far in testing the copy hasn’t damaged anything.
Wouldn’t surprise me if both were made in the same factory.
Can’t see an easy way to open them, otherwise I’d open to have a look inside.

I said consistent, not identical
For rims, getting two that are within 2g of each other is uncommon in my experience. I've seen +/- 20g variation from other manufacturers.

Noted and understood, I was more eluding to the rim weights possible being 424±1g and 422±1g, due to the accuracy of your scales (although I expect yours are better than that, so it may be a moot point). But there is a possibility they are actually identical!

Once you get some mud on them, and some tyres, and some sealant, it'll all go out of the window anyway

A Sonder Frontier in rigid, 650B+ guise to get me back into mountain biking and finally give bikepacking a go after a couple of years with nothing other than 25c tyres and lycra. It was delivered the day after completing the Lakesman Triathlon though and I'm currently not keen on sitting on a bike after a long, miserable day getting that done. Off to the Brecon Beacons for work tomorrow though, and then after working at an event there down to Portland for a few days, so going to chuck it in the car and do some exploring.

A custom topcap from kustomcaps in the USA, ordered last Tuesday and arrived today

This is what my late father would say to me if I was helping him with a job and for example we were trying to lift something and I'd say it was too heavy or we were moving fire wood and I'd point out it had started raining so perhaps we should take shelter etc. etc. you get the general idea. I would say it in half jest as I hope was this, his standard reply.

I though of this a few times on the HT550 (mainly when laying on the ground after crashing and pinned down by my loaded bike) so thought I should have a more permanent reminder.

That Tomshoo mug finally arrived after a bit of a delay and some comms with the seller.

Image

FYI it's definitely NOT 450ml. I just managed 425ml to the brim. Would be ok for the likes of 400ml, so Firepot meals etc, plus as a general mug for coffee etc. I'll ask Stu for a smaller windshield for my meths stove and then need to find a shorter bottle for the meths - pretty sure I'll have something kicking around.

Also

[img]https://i.imgur.com/9nnFSsg.jpg]/img] to replace the spork I lost at June BAM (more of which soon....)
