They call it a dark ruby mild, 5.7%. I imagine it's what a Belgian Dubbel brewer would come up with if you asked them to brew a mild. Tis yum.

The missus has two bottles of zubrowka (apologies for the lack of diacritics) in her vodka collection. Not tried either of them neat yet though.

VERY good, subtle hints of rum and the advertised oak with an espresso vanilla undercurrent. Sadly i only brought one, I’ll be back for more

At a family gathering for Christmas Eve, Pint of Mild, a couple of Fosters, another pint of something else, a couple of glasses of Lidl Gluvein a generous G&t and a good measure of Krupnik. My head is spinning. Bedtime, I think….

Vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate porter, 5.2% so a weak beer compared to some recently on here. Not bad at all and nice and Christmasy.

Sorry Reg, too busy drinking it to be looking at the forum, and I was watching The Detectirists Christmas special. It's Northern Monk, Festive Star and I got them from Morrisons, bargain at £1.50 each and 4 for the price of 3
