Scales hovered between 65 and 66kg this morning. Hopefully after dragging my carcass across Spain for a week I can hit my target on time.

Had a lazy week after a hard BH weekend but unfortunately that followed a week in which I couldn't stop eating

Put on 1.5Kg since the last weigh in (I wasn't around at Easter so missed that), now 85Kg. Original post updated http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 70#p106370

Welcome, just remember to post up every 2 weeks and after 3 postings your on the chart and in with a chance of winning some prizes*

Good luck with the weight loss!

* why 3 posts.. simple I have 15 folk who poisted once or twice at the start and then stopped - makes the chart look "gappy" so them's the rules.
Thanks for the welcome - will indeed put the figures up. Should help with the motivation! m

OK so my friday weigh in after the WRT shows I'm continuing to drop slightly (still below my 90kg first target) despite eating like a horse when on the bike and for the first couple of days since i got back.

OK so now i need another target...86.8 would be another half stone

Back to the porridge :-bd

Vaguely related, tested out my hamstring on the turbo tonight and no pain. Really happy about that.

Have lost about 5% of my outright power, but I'll get it back now I can start proper training again. :-bd

Updated the original page last week but just realised I forgot to put it in here!

http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 99#p106599

72.7 kg, also pleased to note a couple of centimetres off the waist
I'm hoping that as I get out on the bike a bit more over the summer, and now the renovation has come to an end (though still bits and bobs to see too) that the weight loss might pik up a bit.

Forgot (again) to update Thursday, still hovering around the 17st 8 mark,

Light for more exercise, got out in the peaks on Friday with Mrs ftk & dogs
For a 8.5k walk with 300m of climbing, all good but still aching :-bd, hopefully
Back on the bike at weekend, diet still okay, upped carb intake slightly as per
Docs orders, following some Joe Wicks recipes from new books wifey treated
Herself too, very tasty :-bd

Original post updated. Somewhat rubbish real life has seen me not focussing and comfort eating rather too much. And not updating here.

Still I'm currently a lower weight than when we started this, so its not all bad! And just need to re-focus the efforts....

A new fixed wheel comnuter bike should help a bit...

Back in the weight range I should be, though I'll be up again after next weekend as I have another multi day event.

Just looking at the updated graph and my latest numbers weren't added (not that I'm really complaining as I'm not keen to see that 'orrible red line of weight gain on there but just want to make sure I've not been missed out).

Back on track with my lifestyle now and so we should see some progress again.....

Hi groovers, 4 days in to this "new weight loss life" and have to admit feeling pretty good. Have cut out "visible" sugars, out on the bike a bit more and must say I feel more chipper and chilled with life. Looking forward to the weigh in on Thursday to see if it is in the head or the body!! Keep it going groovers. m

Ok groovers - here goes. So, I thought i had lost loads in last (first!) 2 weeks. Alas I seem to have stayed the same. But I am eating better, drinking less and riding more. So...next weigh in should be "epic!!"

This forum is great as it keeps it real - I would have really tried to fudge the results / not wanted to believe them / not put them up etc but it will make me think more and work harder for next weigh in!

Good luck everyone!

19/05/17: 16 st 11. Waist: 110.5cm Chest: 113cm Neck: 41cm

A frustrating couple of weeks, dropped a little down to 84.6Kg http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 70#p106370

I've got the JennRide and HT550 between now and the next weigh in so anything could happen!

I'm still hovering around the 17st 8lb Mark, maybe a shade less, still on it
Though, been diagnosed with hypertension this week and off to see a quack
In August over my apparent Rheumatoid Arthritis .... not giving up though,
I'm thinking ahead though and probably going to be chopping a couple of bikes
In too build another with a better( for me) riding position for wrists hands etc.
I'll be probably asking about people's thoughts on hub gears too...
Anyway.....still at it, got my wife's old fit bit on to track exercise and cals so
Feeling positive :-bd

Just had my Fri lunchtime weigh in 87.8kg so continuing to creep down slowly and sustainably
Eating has been OK this week, but stressed with work so have not done that much exercise - just a couple of swim sessions

Still on it :-bd

I'd forgotten about this, but happened to stand on the scales this morning to discover I was 63.9kg. I think that's the lightest I can remember being as an teenager/young adult

On the scales this morning after a few days off the bike post-Spain...67.5Kg...which sounds about right given the volume of food I consumed whilst away and some muscle growth.

Have lost a good bit of muscle thanks to the events of the last few weeks. I need to get this shoulder healed up and get back to the weights before I waste away. =/

Jumped on the scales this morning...holding steady @ 67.5Kg. I'm impressed considering I'm doubling as a food hoover at the moment.

I'm not in good shape right now. Got back to weighing this week though so I'm sure I'll get on top of it.

Just need to heal up. :|

Updated. Might as well own the fact that I'm not where I want to be (largely due to injury).
