Looking forward to it here too. I think we will not be entering into the full spirit but will be there for the ride and if there is space for the camper at the site then we'll hang out in the evening. As well as Thing 1 having a broken arm Thing 2 had an A+E trip last weekend due to an unexplained blackout. He's keen to come for the ride and chips/ ice-cream but not so sure about bivying (usually enjoys it so he must be a bit below par!) additional to that I am back at worktoday for the first time in nearly two weeks having had a very vigorous stomach bug. have lost 4kg! until today I'd not ridden a bike since last monday...

It's alright, most of our lot are in a tent.
I'm in a bivi bag though as there's no space.

Just one quick question - the limited portage, could I include a few food items with the alcohol? No camping gear though! (And I am an invalid so does that get me any special measures?!)

Maybe we could fill Barney's spare bunk with food and wine rather than me riding back to dol' for my truck.

Happy to store/carry stuff but I'm going straight to the site to pitch the van and then riding up to the meet point

If you can work something around that let me know

I was hoping to catch up with you all over the weekend but sadly, it won't happen now ... have a good time and it looks like the weather's starting to clear a bit .
May the bridges you burn light your way

Thanks to all for a great weekend, especially Taylor for the organisation. Even managed to catch the vulcanised display over Welshpool on the way home. :-bd

thanks Taylor and everyone else for a great weekend.

Erin have a brill ride, she managed further than she'd ever ridden before plus on Sunday she learnt how to use her gears! :-bd

My favourite photo from the weekend sums up a very tiring trip, just before we set off home...

I have a similar picture of Eddie. Who hardly ever sleeps in cars! After two laps of the coed y brenin blue (which was surprisingly good fun!) on the way home he flaked out some where round Bala.

Cheers to everyone for helping to make a great weekend. We had a great time and will add it as a recurring event in my diary :-)
