Long hill climb - it's the group that does big nasty alpine style climbs

For some reason that's obviously known only to me, I spent considerable time planning details and writing them down in a finely crafted email a month before the start. This year's makes special mention of the Star Inn and their kind offer to let WRT riders sleep in their car park or pitch a small tent on their land. All you need to do is let them know to expect you, as they'd hate to run out of food or ale. :-bd

The cakes are ready, a little crumbly due to some issues in the bake so not exactly back pocket ready, all please ask for some tomorrow! I have a fairly decent ginger carrot cake with vanilla icing and a way too crumbly chocolate peanut banana bread :-D

Hey guys...

Great to meet and ride with you all for a few days... I'll get my photos organised this week hopefully, but in the meantime, HERE is a film we made of riding the Trans Cambrian (100 miles from Knighton on the English border, to Dovey Junction, near Machynlleth) a few years ago, which contains a lot of places you'll recognise after this weekend... (it's of varying quality and lots of the shots are too long, but it was the first time I'd done anything like this, and it was quite fun to do).

Also, for anyone interested in the Baja Divide, my first set of words and photos is HERE (the photos need some reformatting as they were organised and uploaded from an old, slow iPad on dodgy Mexican wifi...). The Baja Divide official website is HERE, and contains all the route and resupply information you need to go do it... :-)

Hope this morning isn't too painful... :-)
