We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

I dont have much confidence this post will lead to clarity, or help much, but that is the intention.
But more to the point:
I find it to be a phrase some people use to imply they don't think it is a "big deal". Not one that literally means, because it's not THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVAH, that the issue at hand is utterly irrelevant. But then I'm all about shades and not the absolutesI just find the "worse things happens" something you can always say
Even with a lingua franca misunderstandings occur. Imagine if we were all trying to do it in Welsh
