Anyone made a dropper-specific bag yet?

Talk about anything.

Gotcha. Yes, that'll make a difference. Thing is, I rarely ride terrain where I need a dropper if the bike is that fully loaded.

Shag, you are overthinking things. “Dropper compatible” is just manufacturers saying that their pack doesn’t damage the post. Cath used a Wildcat harness with her dropper post with no problem. I suspect that it’s because the strap is Hyperlon not fabric (Steve Shand would be able to confirm).

Depending on whether it’s for a FS or HT you may or may not have enough room.

Shag! Classic

Overthinking? How can you say such a thing?
Next you’ll be accusing the poor man of being hard to please…

Lol. Thanks Bob. Yes, kindof. But it's mainly to ensure I still gave the full extension of the post and currently I'm just using the ziptie shaved over a tubeless stans rim strip cut down. Works well with the 1L bag but I'm hoping to increase that capacity to about 3L. Just trying to optimise where I'm adding weight and gear to try and get the mtb (long) commute worthy. Maybe I'll just get a standard 4 or 5 l standard bag and wrap it aeound the current strip I have around the dropper shaft.
