I'm sure we could arrange something ;)

They are cheap aren't they ? I paid £140 for my 1 season bag in the sales a couple of years ago and that seemed like a good buy.

Bit of a Montane clearance going on over at Outdoor GB ... Featherlite smock for £22.98 seems like a good buy.

http://www.outdoorgb.com/p/montane_feat ... E_1011_OGB

Or maybe a Litespeed H2O jacket from £38 depending upon size/colour.

Get 'em whilst they're hot! You won't see many Neo Airs at this kind of price.
I snapped up several to give to my family for Christmas pressies.

Bargaintastic ;-)

Frame bag, looks similar to an epic/revelate design tangle bag but I'd be amazed if the quality is even 50% of that. I bought one anyway so will update when I get it.

Available off of the evilbay here:

Cheap synthetic jacket ... looks ideal for camp duties. Nearly half price.

Oh and if you really want something to keep you toasty in the worst conditions then I'd certainly reccomend one of these. I've used one for a few years and really can't fault it ... £50 is a true bargain.

Much like review in the gear section, I could never get a rolling boil using the Esbit wing stove. Good for a cuppa soup though on a day ride.

I resisted buying one as I've already got my MYOG solid fuel burner (with integrated windshield) and that gets water to a rolling boil in 4 minutes or so 8-)

I've also made a new ultra lightweight fuel tablet support from the wire from a Champagne cork but I've yet to test it. However, it's possible that too much heat is lost in the wrong direction with that method (which might be what happens with the Esbit burner) Anyway, the present upside down Supercat burner in my MYOG stove certainly works.

I couldn't resist the +20% at F&T, cheers Stuart.

£212 for a TN Laser Photon 1, I couldn't resist as Ive been contemplating one for a while.

A mate wants my old Laser Comp for £100, so it's only a £112 upgrade to save circa 300g and a smaller packsize :D

Another thing to wait till Xmas for though!!

And with the F&T 20% discount I got one of those thicker Karrimor X-lite mats for winter bivis and general year round other-family-members usage http://www.fieldandtrek.com/karrimor-x- ... ess-782043

After factoring in the cost of postage, I saved a whopping £2 on the cost of walking in and buying it from a local F&T or Sports Direct :-)

@Slugwash ... 2 quid is still 2 quid

I ordered it on Saturday evening, just before i popped out to join in with the Lewes bonfire night celebrations. It was waiting on my doorstep when I arrived back home in Devon on Monday afternoon. 8-)

Plus, it came with a free monster sized Sports Direct branded mug so that's at least one family member's Xmas pressie done and dusted ;)

As for the mat itself. It packs down compact and inflates up all nice and thick. The fabric seems a lot thinner than any other sleeping mats I've had so I'd be tempted to either put it inside the bivi bag or lay it on a small ground sheet to protect it from thorns and stones. I look forwards to testing it out in the 'wilds' in the next week or so.

Right, I'm off to spend the £2 I 'saved' on three cans of 69 pence White Lightning cider. I just need to beg an extra seven pence off someone ;)

Time for a Ti bargain. Snow Peak Mini Solo cook set - 850ml pot, 300ml mug, lid and storage bag, all in weight of 115g. Should be £58.95 reduced to £41.26. The Snow Peak stuff is made in Japan, is very high quality but often difficult to get hold of in the UK.

If anyone's in the market for a lightweight one man tent then it might be worth having a look at six moon designs, they've got 15% off most things at the moment.

http://www.sixmoondesigns.com/tents/SkyscapeScout.html

This means that the Skyscape Scout will cost you around £70 + shipping. The design's very well thought out and it comes in at under a kilo. For those with deep pockets it also comes in Cuben fibre.
