Fords of Avon is very very small. Had a look in on my way past during CL last year and woke a couple of guys up - if I'd wanted to stay it would have been snug!

On a similar but related topic I read (and would recommend) a good book recently - 'The Cairngorms, a Secret History' it gives some interesting history including stuff on various bothies and howfs as they were called that proliferated around the 'gorms, most of which are now gone

Ruigh Aiteachean in Glen Feshie Is closed at least until the end of the month for rebuilding/repairs.
It was all fenced off last week.
