Some shots from a rather cloudy Iceland.

One of many "is this real" moments we had

This is a marked track on the map, not even one of the "F-roads". After a couple of Km of black lava ash it traversed across the foot of the mountain in the background. We had just left an F-road and the only car or indeed people we saw in five hours of riding.

The next two shots are from Landmannalaugar, known as having some of the most colourful mountains in Iceland. Even in driving mirk it was impressive.

Riding up above Skogarfoss towards eyjafjallajokull (missing an accent but we did learn how to say it!).

I got my pre-ordered iPhone 7 though on friday, so this is one of the test shots I took on the weekend.

This was shot in RAW on the phone using the Lightroom app, and then processed in Lightroom all on the phone.

I got a broken face.

That was on Tuesday morning, in the ambulance just before they put some morphine in me.

Got about a year of reconstructive dental surgery to look forwards to. Couple of teeth vanished, they've left two dead ones in for now, in the hope that 4 others that are damaged can be saved. Fracture of the upper jaw. Rest of me is just minor stuff. Taxi that turned right on me barely had a mark, New Domane Disc is dead.

On the up side, I have a shitload of codeine, am signed off work, and have watched The French Connection and Serpico so far.

Thats sub standard to hear. I know codeine is good and all but...
