I can't make the Grand Depart, so would be interested in this, but won't be able to go firm until a bit nearer the time.

What sort of sched are you planning?

Not really much of a plan yet.
Drive up Sat/Sun, short ride a Bivi out. Then just make my way around the route over the course of the week. 80k a day average.

I'll need to pick which week by the end of this month.

About 2 1/2 - 3 hours out there is a great spot. The last stand of trees by St Mary's Loch about a quarter of a mile before Tibie Shiels Inn. Short grass, babbling brook, big spreading cedar trees and of course a pub just up the way. You'll know it when you come across it :-bd .

Not at the moment Ray.
Decided to do something closer to home, which was similar conditions to Turin.
