SOLD Niner scandium frame - medium

Post by ianfitz »

. Ridden a bit, new arrival means it needs a new home.

Now has a Chris king headset. Yours for £150 plus postage at cost.

Looks like this one - http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... ner#p55258 cos it is that one!

Has been ridden and some marks to prove it. But of chain slap and suck the most notable. It builds up into a nice light bike, pretty stiff frame but room for 2.4 out back with plenty of clearance.

Can take and send further pictures on request.

Frame only but I may be able to do some forks with it. I'm keeping the niners on another bike.

Sure is, vertical drop outs. I ran it with regular QR and also 10x135 bolt through.

Normal BB, 1 1/8 head tube

Well that means I've got a set of wheels that would fit then...

You mentioned you've got a set of forks that you might be able to do with it too?

There is a set of rigid carbons with a 15mm bolt through axle (rare to find them in a straight steerer fork!) and I've another set but I seem to remember they have a short steerer. I'll look tonight.

The 15mm ones are what I had on the frame, £80 with the frame?

I may have some other bits kicking around if in need of stuff for a build

Sorry Ian - having to have a bit of a think.

The wheel set I've got is 9mm QR front and rear. While I'd rather have a 15mm hub up front as it'd give me more flexibility in the future I could do without spending the extra money now.

If the other fork you've got happens to be QR and have a long enough steerer then I'm definitely interested otherwise I'll carry on hunting for a decent price QR carbon fork.

Ok, I have some Hylix Carbon forks that fit. A short steerer but the head tube is short too so they'll work fine. Theres around 5cm for stem and spacers

150 for frame and Chris King headset and 70 for those forks. Postage at cost if you need it delivered. Based in sheffield but at the braunton 150, south lakes jenn ride and highlands between now and easter if you'd rather meet up.

Sounds good!

I live in S11 and work in S10 so if we can arrange a collection that'd be good. I'll send you a PM to arrange it.

Nice to meet you too Ian. And thanks for dropping the frame off.

Hopefully I might even see you out on a ride once I've got it built up.
