I'm loving the optimism ... solar chargers
I'm lovin' the forecast - BBC has wall to wall sunshine. First time two months! Do we need much spare space for 'emergency supplies' Stu?

No, shouldn't need too much, a bit of pocket space should do ;)

Good luck with the Tesco Down bag VD! I'm leaving mine at home and going for a bit of comfort. No balloon beds for me either on this trip.

Anyway, heres my list now I've got it all sorted.....

Front Dry Bag
ME Lightline down sleeping bag
Rab Survival Zone bivi bag
MYOG pot cozy
Small ground sheet
Poundland silicon bowl

Rear Bag
Karrimor full length self-inflating mat
Cheap garden tarp (2 x 1.7 metres)
Pegs & cord
MYOG solidfuel stove & fuel tabs
Snowpeak 450ml Ti Cup (for use as pan)
Folding cup

Small Frame Bag
Tools (allen key, chain tool, swiss army knife, punc. repair kit, tyre levers, spare brake pads)
Spare camera battery
First aid kit
Food (coffe bags, tea bags, hot-choc, couc cous, instant soup, chorizo, custard pwdr)
Plastic spoon

Back pack
Uniqlo ultra-light down parka
Montane Atomic waterproof jkt
Lidls thermal long johns
spare dry socks
Helly Hansen wool/poly thermal top (this one's toastin')
Lowe Alpine Dryflo zipped front baselayer
Oatcakes & other snacks
Maps
Camera (probably waterproof Pentax Optio)
Empty Source bladder for filling up at camp (Jim 'Shinythings' Clayton is bringing MSR waterfilter in his pack)
Tiny Petzl headtorch
Spare battery for LED bike torch
Smartphone with emergency GPS
Foil blanket

Bike is my 456 with 130mm travel forks with......
1 bottle in cage for water
XML T6 1300* lumen LED torch on bars
seatpost rack on rear clamped to the frame (also acts as seatpost clamp :-) )
Rear LED light

The front bag will be held in place by my new "poundshop bungee retention system" which I invented this morning when I couldn't find my proper harness & straps. It actually works pretty well :-)

EDIT: forgot pump, spare inner tube & goretex waterproof trousers in above list.

First frost for us at 200m ABSL in North Wales this a.m. and now 'bootiful' blue sky and sunshine - squinting out of the window in surprise and wonder  :D
High camp for me with thick down bag it is!

perfect weather for it, I can't wait going to be a great weekend I can feel in my bones!!!

I think I have enough clothing to layer up to keep plenty warm enough, I really want to take the bear minimum kit in comparison to last years everything plus the kitchen sink, dishwasher and teddy bear approach

I will find out tomorrow night

All packed and ready to go, quick last minute addition to the route to take in Bivi spot 1.

Better go to bed I suppose.
