Quick trial on a hard floor seems to prove it's more comfortable than the floor itself. Not just for back sleepers either, found a position that works on my side. Pack size is impressive too.

Today I got an email saying my TN bivi bag will be a few more days

Small huh... and light!

I agree that it seems possible to get comfy on your side too. Though its a week and a half until I'll be using it in anger
Lovers the idea but got a full length one which I just couldn't get on with. For sale if anyone's interested ;-)
I'd be interested to try one out... Not to purchase though. As I've got other things going on ATM, if you still have it at the end of the year, let me know ;-)

Revelate harness thanks to Firmo

Big box

Slightly smaller box

Turns into a Singular Gryphon in the new colour - I think Sam needs better pictures on his website as they don't do the colour justice at all.

PS - how do I attached photos?

I followed your link to the page and then clicked on the drawing pin to get the embedding code :)

Sorry...

1. Go to the flickr page
2. Click on the icon of a rectangle with an arrow leaving it
3. THEN click on the drawing pin icon
4. Choose pic size and then copy n' paste the code
5. Use preview to check that when being a smart arse it actually works! :-bd

Here I've broken the code so you can see what it looks like, as it's a link to the page & the pic link (round brackets at the start):

Just had a few done for Bespoked in a few weeks, but now we've see the quality, we can look at getting a small batch done. They'll appear in the shop next month.

They also have Ride Far, Ride Free on the reverse

That might be perfect timing. I just sent a new hoody back to Alpkit for a size exchange but they are out of stock so got a refund.

Shimano XT 10spd clutch mech, 11-36 cassette, shifters plus a KMC chain.

Waiting for a Hope retainer ring and t-rex expander ring for the cassette.

Decided I'd go 10speed and single ringed on the Fireline.

WTB Volt Pro saddle in white, not the best colour for mountain biking but it matches the paint job on my bike and more importantly is the right width for me (hopefully solving my nether region pain problem) and only cost £18 from TripleButted Cycling rather than £40-£53 others are asking for it. Also 1x1.5m mosquito net and 3x1.5m of 2oz waterproof breathable fabric to make a bivi bag with  .

Fleegle bars, on-one stem and neoprene overshoes from Planet X sale.
Finally can ditch the over-engineered stem from my hardrock commuter.

A remarkably small box from Hope considering it's got nearly £1,800 worth of components in it.

There will be some happy volunteer trailbuilders with shiney new bling in Yorkshire this month

Siren Cycles Fred Bar. They very kindly marked it prototype too so no extra charges :-bd

Looks very unexciting but here is a pic anyway.

Be nice if it did but I think it'll be in the issue after this one ... nice if I'm wrong though.

Alas, you're probably right. No sign of it in this issue. :(
