C2W fat bike options

Post by ootini »

Hi all. My company is just opening up our C2W options for the year and I fancy picking up a new bike. In this case a fat bike...
Question is, what are my options ? I'm working off a £1k limit on the scheme with another £1k I could use to top up, assuming that would be acceptable to the retailer.
Thanks

Trek Farley look nice and is under budget too.

Most independents will allow you to top up.

Some bikes are hard to find at the moment, so may be better to find the bike first, ask about the voucher and then reserve it with a deposit

As above with such limited stock, worth finding bike first and then fitting scheme around it.

Salsa Beargrease is my third fatty and best i have ridden so far.

there is no limit, unles syour company has set one which seems odd as they save more if you spend more , and you need to be very careful about paying half yourself as technically [ ie legally] the bike does not belong to you[ its a loan ] and whilst bike shops will let you do this its not at all legal/legit.
Probably get away with it but worth kowing the risk
