New Shoes

Maybe moon on a stick time, but any shoe recommendations which would cover the following:

Non-spd
breathable for my sweaty feet
fast drying
stiff shoe
reasonable grip for some bike-a-hike

Add "quick draining" to that list and I ended up taking a 10mm drill to an old pair of Salomon hiking boots :D Perfect for packrafting!

They look great but I've heard that they're not very robust and the sole isn't really ideal for proper hikey-bikey stuff (though good in the water).

Solomon XA shoes are great for both riding and walking. I have the non gore-tex version for drainage, which they do well. They flex enough when walking but have a rigid enough sole for biking all day with good flats. Expensive but they do last well.

The XAs are always great, I've got a pair of s-lab version which have propelled me for miles

I have a set of these as my general every day trainer type shoes and find them really comfy. No idea what they're like on a bike....

I use five ten chase free running shoes on my bike and they fit your criteria well. They may be a bit slower to dry than other options listed. They are fairly stiff soled but with a little flex making hike a bike comfortable. I've walked 24 miles in them in one go so they also make a good walking shoe.

Grip on pedals and rock is superb and also pretty good in mud as long as its not too deep. They also look like normal shoes so are fine for off the bike wear.

Usually around 80 quid a pair but keep an eye on crc and snow and rock as they often have deals on for around 55 quid.
