For the truly weight obsessive - Spectra / carbon lines.
Spectra and carbon guy-lines. Obviously, you could just use a fixed length, non-adjustable line but with the carbon tensioner, these only weigh 1g for a 1.5m long line with a 300lb capacity.
I'll make a jig for drilling the adjusters and then likely add them to the shop for the obsessives amongst us.

For the same length line, these are about 1/4 of the weight.how much weight is being saved over the standard Dyneema light (I think) ones you already sell??
Price, don't know yet. I'll need to make some properly and see how long it takes me - they're slightly fiddly

It's the race version - allows you to clean all your teeth at once

So...a saving of 3 grams or so? With two of them you've saved a whole teaspoon of water!

Re: For the truly weight obsessive - Spectra / carbon lines.
Thanks for quantifying that Paul. I did briefly look at weights of Dyneema lines on UltralightOutdoorGear but thought I must be 'misundertooding' something and.... Well its obviously another one of Stu' mad ideas desgined for Dave or Reg!
I think its an utterly mad and expensive idea.
I dont think I will be able to make a decent enoigh return for my £90 investment.
Therefore I wont be investing.
Therefore I'm out

No need. I've moved to the next level and am now using plaited unicorn hair along with linelocs made from unobtanium. Weigh 0g and are unbreakable

'plaited unicorn hair' . 0g? But surely the unicorn stuff is negatively weighted so actually makes your kit lighter than it was before you added it .

Unfortunately offset by the unobtanium. Hopefully the next version will use 3-D printed unicorn horn powder for the linelocs. I've got the elves working on it at the mo

While it might not make much difference to tent guy lines it can save some significant weight on hammock suspension. I got some from the stunt guys, they use it for flying people around on big hydraulic winches. Loops are made by threading the line back through itself (it’s hollow) one end if passed back out if the line after a few inches making an adjustable loop, they are sold as ‘whoopie Slings’ and are so thin it takes a little faith to put your weight on them, remarkably stuff,

"‘whoopie Slings" - Stevo, do they make an embarrassing noise when you use them, like the associated cushions? I was going to invest but I'm unsure about the social pariah situation now.
