At this rate, we may have to gate crash the Shropshire party ... a border raid perhaps

I can handle the blame - broad shoulders... I think it'd be ace to have Stu x 2.

.... could quickly nip over into Montgomeryshire as part of the ride so it could count as the WWB as well. Or even bivi exactly on the border line - head in Wales, feet in England perhaps.

No bame to assign Reg, I just thought that if the WWB was going to be somewhat quiet, a trip over the border might be in order.I can handle the blame

Yep, Kerry Ridgeway is about the easiest / most direct way of crossing the border.

Re: Welsh Winter Bivvy .........
CHIP FIGHT! Excellent.
Kerry Ridgeway'd be interesting. Was going to train it to Stretton but Newtown just as easy. Anyways no need to decide yet. Curiously the fastest way Milton Keynes to Newtown via Shrewsbury is through Brum. But to Church Stretton it's to steam on a fast train way past Brum up to Crewe miles further north then swap to a train back south again. What do I know, I just sit back and drink tea staring aimlessly out the window and assume the driver knows where (s)he's going.
