Anyone tried one of these? Any idea of the weight?

Might take a ride to Lidl shortly if they're any good - will buy a few if someone away from a store is after a bed.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they were about 500g.

Excellent, I'll get one tomorrow - anyone else want one posted if they're nowhere near a Lidl?

Obviously now is the very best time to buy a new down jacket ... Ghost Whisperer for half price, £125 rather than £250.

That's pretty damn tempting. I just bought a much more heavy one for winter travel... but that looks good for bikepacking.

Edit - Balls to it, for that money it's got to be worth a try. I hope I'm not too fat for a medium.

Bugger, wish this had been posted yesterday before I ordered an alternative slightly heavier and slightly more expensive down jacket for bike packing duties.

I feel like sending mine back now it's not such a bargain!

Edit - it's going back as the sizing doesn't work for me, and I have to pay the return postage - great bargain! Not sure I'd bother getting another (even if they had my size) as it really doesn't contain much insulation.

Mine arrived today. I'll be honest, given it's not technically waterproof I would have preferred a little bag for it, but I guess realistically I can squeeze it into a zip bag if I want to anyway.

I don't follow the cost of pillows so can't really say whether it's a bargain or not:

Ha - same question. There's the Outdry Ex and the Outdry Extreme.
