Riding the TCW from Wednesday next week, mates are softies and won’t bivi it, so having to B and B
As driving up from Bristol to Knighton, was wondering where to stay in Knighton, so don’t have a 2 1/2 drive before the ride.
I’m guessing the rivers are in full flow and the ground is still boggy.
Knighton accommodation options ?

Surprisingly, conditions aren't as bad as you might imagine. Most of the rivers you'll come across are 'near source', so while they rise very quickly they all recede quickly too. If you're going E-W boggiest sections will be nearer the start.I’m guessing the rivers are in full flow and the ground is still boggy.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Excellent news Norm !

How about ending your ride at Knighton.
I'd agree with Norm/Stu that it's better that way. Plus if you get the train to Dovey, you won't have to worry about getting back to your car.
Have fun, it's a lovely ride.
Cheers Rob

"better that way" - mounting Foel Fadian in that direction could be "interesting" . Still, at least that way round there'd be a pub or two at the end to celebrate in, rather than a windswept railway platform .
