Seatpack Liner

Post by SimpleSi »

Anybody any recommendations for something to line my Bedrock seat pack with? Doesn't need to be a full on dry bag, the pack itself is waterproof material they just didn't tape the seams. Nice and thin and light.

I tend to use my schnozzle bag for this task up front. Any silnylon drybag would do the job, you won't get anything much lighter aside from a bin liner.

McNet seam sealer is a 'does what it says on the tin' product. worth a few quid.

I always like to use a plastic bag in my seat pack. ALso means you can take everything into a bothy or what ever and leave the bag on the bike. If you want.

I use an alpkit tapered dry bag, mainly because I designed my seatpack to fit one.I’ve also used various thin dry bags and bin bags with no issues.

Either Alpkit or Wildcat tapered bag for me. I've the smaller of the two Wildcat bags so which I take depends on how much kit I've got - this is usually time of year dependent. Or maybe which one I get to first in the pile
