Just a shame about the group set and brakes
And that it doesn’t have bolt thru wheels

Agree about the groupset, I suppose that's how they make it affordable though, can always be upgraded when it wears out. Saying that the claris on my commuter shifts like a train, just replaced it like for like last monthAsposium wrote:Just a shame about the group set and brakes

Still likey to be a grand+ over here. It'll have a lot of competition in that ballpark with many competitors far better specced.
May the bridges you burn light your way

Yep, and thats assuming we actually see any over here. AFAIK no Alu or Ti Timberjacks were ever released to the UK? Good old QBP and their winning stock modelBearbonesnorm wrote:Still likey to be a grand+ over here. It'll have a lot of competition in that ballpark with many competitors far better specced.
Re: New Salsa Journeyman
There have been Timberjacks in the UK.
Also,I quite like this as a build. Looks like it has a lot of applications and the price is pretty good for what it is.

A few shops are now dealing direct and should happily get you one - I know that Keep Pedalling have had plenty of stock arrive direct since the demise of Raleigh / Salsa. No UK distributor

I've just had a chat to Shona and mentioned these. Long story short, if you're serious about one give her a call and hopefully you'll get one - it does sound as though it's likely to be your only chance. Estimated price looks to be around £1150. No framesets available.
