Bivvy Spots around Hull/East Yorkshire Area?

Post by screescree »

Haven't been able to find many where I felt safe or secluded enough to camp out, anyone have any places they stop in the area?
Cheers

Speaking without knowledge! A friend cycles taking a tent with him regularly, as in weekly. He calls it guerilla camping. When it is time to camp he simply finds a field or a wood and....camps. A few farmers have caught him, always in the morning and have never been overly stroppy with him. Remember your a cyclist who couldn't find a campsite not a pikey destroying his field. You should be looking for any quiet spot and simply pitch your tent.

Search for drewton. It's off the market weighton road down the disused railway.
I've bivvied down there myself, got a bit spooked by gamekeepers blasting shotguns
