Considering selling my spearfish and going back to a HT for bikepacking. It's a great bike, I've done the HT550, Braunton 150, Lakeland 200 & transcambrian way on it as well as bit of marathon and XC racing.
It's a 2012, 135mm QR backend. It would come with a headset, seat collar, spare monarch shock (that TF say is on the way out but still holds air). PF30 converter and shimano BB (new before highland trail, so 600 miles odd old), a monarch RT3 (that was also new for the highland trail). It also has a custom made Alpkit framebag with matching orange stitching! I've got a few other bits and bobs if anyone was interested (e.g. XT cranks, BB7s, maybe a Reba fork, possibly wheels - either hope/crest or superstar switch/tactic I could possibly put together a whole bike with 2 * 10 XT 785 groupset, cassette, chainrings and chain 500 miles old, brakes freshly bled).
I'd be after £500 for the frame + frame bag, which I know is a lot but the frame bag and shock cost £300+ in the last couple of months...

I might be interested in a set of wheels if you are looking to shift items separately?

Hi Bob,
let me know! It's still built up but I'll get some more pictures taken...
Mariner - the wheels will depend on selling the frame, but I'll let you know!

David, I bought it. Currently sitting in our house waiting for me to decide on parts.

Thanks Bob for updating.
Hope you enjoy it when it gets built up! I built up a whyte M109 to replace it and to be honest I'm not sure it was the right move

A bit late to the party.... if you didn't need the frame bag Bob i'd be interested, looks like it would fit perfectly into my old Transition Bandit frame.

I'll see how things go regarding the frame bag but it's likely to be next spring before the bike's complete and ready to ride - I do a lot of prevaricating - and I've figured out if the bag suits how I want to lay things out.

No worries.
I do a lot of prevaricating too.
It would be the spring by the time I get the Bandit sorted, stuck main pivot axle at the moment, well the last 2 years actually.
So at least this has me back on it, shall have a stab at it next week.
Then I think I'll get a bag made, reckon it'll make a top adventure bike for the lively end of things and that show your bike thread has me wanting my bikes sorted so I can post!

Contact alpamayo. They made me a bag for my bandit so should still have the template.Mbnut wrote:No worries.
