A while ago I made a stove out of a aluminium beer bottle - wasn't as tiny as Stu's but it was fun to make (and won the impromptu meths stove boil off that we had a few years back - although all the disgruntled boys said I just won the women's event - sore loosers the lot of them )
Since them I've not seen another aluminium beer bottle - until yesterday, sainsbury are selling corona in alu bottles
Funnily enough I Googled them to find a pick and found this . .

So you could either buy them and make stoves for 1.95 or sell the empties for a silly amount on eBay - win win !

10quid for an empty bottle of beer is that guy having a laugh. I bet the bottle full isn't half that.

You can get aluminum spray bottles (like a hairdresser would use) for less than a pound from home bargains.
That's what I used for mine: http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB ... 10#p112210

Yes but then you have to empty all the hairspray out - these are easy as you just drink it :)

Still not as much fun as a beer bottle!
